The Beacon Hospital All-Ireland Football 7s Series will be held on Saturday 29th July.

The All-Ireland Football 7s has been a key event in the football calendar for nearly 50 years and is the second weekend in the month of national 7s competitions. Reigning champions Kilmacud Crokes had a strong showing in 2022, but it was no match for Skryne who took the spoils by beating Mountbellew in the final.

ABOUT THE FOOTBALL 7s

The All-Ireland Football 7’s has been a key event in the football calendar for nearly 50 years and is the second weekend in the month of national 7’s competitions. Football was the first All-Ireland 7’s event hosted at Kilmacud Crokes with UCD winning the inaugural competition in 1973. Since then the competition has grown on a national level with several clubs specialising in the 7’s format with the likes of Corofin of Co. Galway, St. Galls of Co. Antrim and Bryansford of Co. Down among multiple winners of the competition.

This year’s competition will see 32 clubs from around the country competing for the coveted “third” All-Ireland.
