ABOUT THE CAMOGIE 7s

in 2022 the All-Ireland Camogie 7’s returned to its normal format for the 49th consecutive year. The competition is contested by 32 clubs from around the country competing in both the Cup and Shield competitions catering for all skill levels. The pandemic didn’t put a stop to the competition which moved to an online skills competition with clubs from around the world taking part in the first global Camogie tournament series.

Buffers Alley of Co. Wexford were the inaugural winners of the Cup competition and alongside St. Pauls of Co. Kilkenny have won the competition on six separate occasions. This year saw teams battling it out to try take the title away from reigning champions De La Salle of Co. Waterford.
